Renowned Kollywood director Lokesh Kanagaraj, celebrated for films like Vikram and Leo, is set to helm his next project ‘Thalaivar 171’, featuring the iconic Rajinikanth. The movie is generating immense buzz since its announcement, recently secured the participation of acclaimed actor Sivakarthikeyan, who signed the agreement for a significant role in the film. A devoted fan of Rajinikanth, Sivakarthikeyan’s inclusion adds to the excitement surrounding the project.
Thalaivar 171 marks lokesh kanagaraj’s sixth directorial venture and his maiden collaboration with the esteemed Jailer actor. The film is anticipated as a standalone venture, distinct from the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).
In a recent interview, the director expressed admiration for Rajinikanth’s villainous roles and hinted at incorporating that essence into Thalaivar 171. Reports also indicate that Raghava Lawrence is set to portray as the antagonist in the film.
Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, the film’s musical composition will be handled by Anirudh Ravichander. The action direction will be skillfully executed by Anbariv masters, enhancing the overall cinematic experience of this eagerly awaited project.
