Rajinikanth’s upcoming sports drama film is ‘Lal Salaam’. His daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth directing this film. A trailer of the film was released at the last minute to boost the hype.
Going by the trailer, Rajinikanth plays Moideen Bhai, promoting communal harmony and serving as a crucial element in the movie’s appeal.
Rajinikanth’s extended cameo, the film hasn’t created much buzz, mainly due to its unconventional genre—a sports drama addressing religious issues instead of a mainstream commercial film.
“Lal Salaam” marks Aishwarya’s return to feature film direction after an eight-year break. Backed by Lyca Productions, Lal Salaam is scheduled for release this week on February 9.
