Superstar Rajinikanth bounced back with the ‘Jailer’ last year. He delivered a huge blockbuster and it turns to be one of the biggest all time grosser film.
Now, he is making a special appearance in ‘Lal Salaam,’ directed by his daughter, Aishwarya Rajinikanth. On the promotional posters, To grab the attention, they are using Rajinikanth as the front face.
‘Lal Salaam’ is releasing next Friday, but sadly no one knows about it. The promotions have been so poor, even with a star like Rajini as part of the film. It is very strange and surprising as the film is coming from a big production house like Lyca Productions and having technicians like A. R. Rahman onboard.
The bookings have been opened, and the response has been not up to mark so far. ‘Jailer’ made huge pre release buzz due to Anirudh’s ‘Hukum’ song before of its release, which is missing here. We have to see how the superstar image will grab the attention and pull the audience to the theatre next week.
