Sreeleela, the rising star who captured Tollywood in 2023 is now on the edge of disappearing from the radar. This young actress burst onto the scene with ‘PelliSandadi’ under the supervision of Raghavendra Rao opposite veteran hero Srikanth’s son Roshan. She gained acclaim for her exceptional dancing abilities, a rarity among contemporary leading ladies. In 2022, her film ‘Dhamaka’ with Ravi Teja became a blockbuster catapulting her to overnight stardom.
Throughout 2023, Sreeleela signed on to half a dozen projects but none could replicate the magic of ‘Dhamaka’ Her latest outing was ‘Guntur Kaaram’ with Superstar Mahesh Babu leaving her with only one film in hand ‘Ustaad Bhagath Singh’ with Pawan Kalyan. However, she’s poised for her Tamil debut.
Rumors abound that discussions are underway to cast Sreeleela as the leading lady opposite Ajith although nothing has been confirmed. Director Ravichandran aims to unveil Ajith in a never-before-seen avatar to generate excitement for the project. Allegedly, Ajith is commanding a staggering Rs 150 Crores as remuneration for this film.
