The theatrical release of Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s latest film, ‘Tillu Square’, on March 29, 2024, was met with resounding success and boasting impressive box office numbers and garnering widespread critical acclaim. Many lauded the film for surpassing its predecessor which is a rare achievement in itself.
Following it triumphant run in theatres, ‘Tillu Square’ is now gearing up for its digital debut. Netflix India recently announced on their official platform that the film will be available for streaming starting April 26, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam languages. ‘Tillu Square’ continues the comedic crime saga initiated by its predecessor, ‘DJ Tillu’ released in 2022. The film delves into the misadventures of DJ Tillu amplifying both the romance and comedy elements alongside Siddhu Jonnalagadda reprising his role as DJ Tillu, the movie features Anupama Parameswaran as Lily along with notable performances from Muralidhar Goud, Murali Sharma, and others.
Script written jointly by Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Mallik Ram also taking care of direction, the film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The musical score is crafted by Ram Miriyala and Srichaan Pakala while Sai Prakash Ummadisingu oversees cinematography and Naveen Nooli handles editing. Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s rise in the Telugu film industry has been meteoric, propelled by the success of ‘DJ Tillu’ and now ‘Tillu Square’. His future endeavors include ‘Jack’, directed by Bommarilu Bhaskar, and ‘Telusu Kada’, helmed by Neeraja Kona showcasing his versatility and promising career trajectory.
