Tillu’s character, dialogues, and songs became immensely popular so the makers immediately started with the title Tillu Square. The film is a direct sequel to DJ Tillu, with two major differences. While the franchise’s first part was directed by Vimal Krishna, Mallik Ram will be directing its sequel.
Secondly, there’s a notable switch in the female lead. Anupama Parameswaran steps into the role, replacing Neha Shetty, who portrayed Radhika in DJ Tillu. However, recent speculations hint at Rashika’s return to Tillu Square, albeit in a cameo appearance. Sources close to the film reveal that Neha Shetty is set to reprise her role for a 15-minute cameo sequel. Neha was last seen in films like ‘Bedurulanka 2012’ and ‘Rules Ranjann’, and she’s gearing up for her next project, ‘Gangs of Godavari’, alongside Vishwak Sen. Apart for Anupama Parameswaran and Neha Shetty, Tillu Square features a talented ensemble cast including Muralidhar Goud, Praneeth Reddy Kallem, CVL Narasimha Rao, and Murali Sharma.
Ram Miriyala has composed the film’s music, with Sai Prakash handling cinematography and Navin Nooli in charge of editing. “Tillu Square” is all set to hit the screens on March 29th, promising audiences another entertaining cinematic experience.
