After the resounding success of his superhero film ‘Hanu Man’ director Prasanth Varma is eyeing Bollywood. Insider sources reveal that Varma is in discussions with Bollywood luminary Ranveer Singh for an epic mythological project anticipated to boast a budget of Rs 100 Cr.
While specifics are kept under wraps it’s confirmed that this venture will stand apart from the Hanu Man sequel, ‘Jai Hanuman’. Varma and Singh are reportedly in talks with prominent Bollywood studios including T-series, Viacom 18 and Jio Studios. “Prasanth seeks a bankable star to bring his grand narratives to life and capture audiences nationwide,” a source close to the director disclosed. Despite attracting interest from both Tollywood and Bollywood producers following the success of ‘Hanu Man’, Varma is meticulous in his search for the ideal collaborator to realize his vision.
