Complaint Filed Against Sekhar Kammula Kubera Title

A clash over the title has erupted posing a threat to director Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film ‘Kubera’ featuring Dhanush. Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh. Producer Karmikonda Narendra representing Sri Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP, claims to have already registered and filmed a movie titled ‘Kubera’. This directly conflicts with Kammula’s film also titled ‘Kubera’, produced under the same banner Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP.

Narendra alleges prior registration and completion of his film. However, upon learning of Kammula’s ‘Kubera’, he filed a complaint with the Telangana Film Chamber regarding the title overlap. With no response, Narendra opted for legal action to safeguard his title claim. This dispute casts uncertainty over the release of Kammula’s ‘Kubera’ as the legal battle unfolds. Narendra urges the Telangana Film Chamber to mediate. The resolution of this conflict remains uncertain and could significantly impact both productions.
