Ranveer Singh renowned for his recent blockbuster ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ alongside Alia Bhatt under Karan Johar’s direction is presently engrossed in Rohit Shetty‘s forthcoming project, ‘Singham Again’, slated for release on August 15. While eagerly anticipating the release of ‘Singham Again’ Ranveer’s upcoming ventures include the highly anticipated ‘Don 3’ and a desi superhero flick, ‘Shaktimaan’. However as both ‘Don 3’ and ‘Shaktimaan’ are in pre-production phases, and ‘Don 3’ requires more time before commencing filming, Ranveer sought to delve into another project in the meantime.
Recent reports reveal that Ranveer has given a go for an action-packed collaboration with director Aditya Dhar, renowned for his work on ‘Uri’, the film that garnered immense acclaim. Scheduled to commence shooting in April/May this year, the untitled venture promises to be a high-octane action thriller centered around Indian Intelligence Agencies.
Following the success of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike,’ Aditya Dhar is poised to embark on yet another exhilarating journey, this time with Ranveer Singh in the lead role. Set against the backdrop of Indian Intelligence Agencies, the film will showcase Ranveer in a dynamic new persona, adding further intrigue to the project.
Ranveer’s calendar for the upcoming years includes Aditya Dhar’s project in May 2024, followed by ‘Don 3’ in August/September 2024, and ‘Shaktimaan’ in May/June 2025. Initially slated to commence filming for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Baiju Bawra’ in April 2024, Ranveer’s schedule has been adjusted to accommodate his upcoming commitments. Moreover, ‘Don 3’ was originally set to begin production in January 2025, followed by ‘Shaktimaan’ later that same year.
