Young actor Akhil Akkineni has delivered the biggest disaster film of his career with Agent. The film had huge expectations among the audience, but it ended as an utter flop due to the poor direction of Surender Reddy.
The audience and critics grilled director Surender Reddy when the film was released for his poor direction and execution. After seeing huge negativity about the film, the OTT partner of the Agent, SonyLiv officials, have asked Surender Reddy to make changes to the film.
After making several changes to the film, it is being heard that the OTT officials are still not satisfied with the output. When they asked the director to make further changes, Surender Reddy denied doing so, saying he had made enough changes to the film.
It is being heard that the SonyLiv officials who bought the film for a fancy price are regretting acquiring the rights of the film.
Agent was made with a lavish budget of 65 crores, but it has collected just 4 crores at the box office. Ajay Sunkara who produced the film under AK Entertainment, faced huge losses with this film.
