German Actress to Portray as Sonia Gandhi in Yatra 2

Following the phenomenal success of Yatra in 2019, filmmaker Mahi V Raghav began his work on a sequel to the film. The production of this sequel, starring Malayalam star Mammootty and Tamil actor Jiiva, is progressing rapidly.

It turned out to be more intresting when the news came out that Bollywood Director, Actor Mahesh Manjrekar is playing as former Chief Minister, TDP Chief Nara Chandra Babu Naidu. Another exciting piece of news is that German actress Suzanne Bernert will play Sonia Gandhi in Yatra 2. The Filmmakers unveiled her character poster on tuesday.

Suzanne Bernert was born in Germany and has worked in ad commercials, Hindi films, web series, and TV shows. It’ll be fascinating to see how she will be playing the role of Sonia. According to the filmmakers, in order to understand the relationship between Yatra 2 and Sonia, one must watch the film.

Yatra was inspired by YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s walkathon. The film turned out to be a huge success amassing lot of praise from the audeince. ‘Yatra 2’ will depict the rise of YSR’s son, YS Jagan, to the position of people’s leader. It also looks at the political scene of Andhra Pradesh from 2009 to 2019. ‘Yatra’ was released on February 8th, 2019. Now,’Yatra 2′ is also set to be released on the same day, February 8th, 2024.

Yatra 2 is a collaboration between V Celluloid and Three Autumn Leaves that promises to be an engaging political thriller. Santhosh Narayanan is working on the film’s musical score.
