Yatra 2, a biopic of YCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is ready for release. Mahi V Raghava is the director for this biopic. The film is hitting the theaters on the 8th of this month. But unfortunately the film isn’t having the best of pre-release business. Mainly OTT rights haven’t been brought by any platform yet.
The issue with Yatra 2 is that it had no hype going its way right from the outset. This resulted in zero interest from OTT buyers and hence, the OTT rights are unsold.
Even in the case of the first part, there was a complaint that YCP leaders leased the theaters to generate revenues. But the lack of public anticipation is clearly showing in the case of the second part. With no theatrical buzz and no OTT deal in place, let’s see where this propaganda film will go.
