Pan-Indian Film Disaster Response On Silver Screen

Kollywood’s prestigious project Ponniyin Selvan has done remarkable business at Tamil box office, though the film was released in Pan-Indian level it has managed to win only Tamil audience hearts as they failed to impress Telugu and Hindi audience. Continuing the same Mani Rathnam’s epic film Ponniyin Selvan Telugu version was telecasted on TV in popular channel Gemini TV on Sunday. The film has got disaster response on silver screen. Guess what the film has got just 2.17 TRP rating on Television. There are the worst figures for any Pan-Indian film with huge star cast. Ponniyin Selvan features Karthi, Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and Shobitha in lead role. The film is produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies. AR Rahman has composed music for the film.
