Netizens Say Kushi Numbers Are Fake, Shame Mythri Movie Makers

Youth sensation Vijay Deverakonda is basking in the success of his recent outing Kushi. The film earned mixed reviews from critics, fans and the public alike upon its release on September 1, 2023. The rom-com is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. The production house shared the opening weekend collections officially:

Mythri Movie Makers tweeted saying that the film made Rs 70.23 crore (gross) worldwide in 3 days. “Viplav and Aradhya are now household names for all the families,” the makers wrote.

Netizens were quick to react to the BO poster. They started trolling Mythri Movie Makers for sharing the “fake” numbers. “Shame on the banner for putting out made-up numbers,” a Netizen wrote.

Some of them are asking the banner to give exact figures instead of inflated numbers. “If the film is really minting gold at the box office, why is Vijay Deverakonda seen around everywhere, restlessly promoting the film? Why can’t he rest at home?” a Netizen wrote. Several Netizens claimed that the banner has previously put out fake figures for some of its previous films as well.

As far, as we know, Kushi entered the break-even phase in USA and Nizam territories. The film is yet to reap the profits in the rest of the locations.

In the meantime, take a look at the tweets:
