Samantha Ruth Prabhu Enjoys Hot Stone Bath in Bhutan

Samantha Ruth Prabhu just updated her social media followers on her recent trip to Bhutan. The Majili actress posted an Instagram story showing herself in a traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath known as a “Dotsho,” as well as other videos of Mount Everest’s stunning slopes.

In the post, Samantha can be seen relaxing in the hot tub, which is filled with water heated by hot stones located in the riverbed. The Citadel actress says that dotsho, which is supposed to have numerous health benefits, is a common wellness regimen in Bhutan.

She further continues on her Instagram story, “Over a thousand years ago, Bhutan discovered the wellness ritual of Ayurveda in a fascinating exchange of trade, knowledge, and culture with India.” The hot stone baths are reported to integrate Tibetan Kum Nye healing as well as rejuvenation techniques from Indian Ayurveda.” “The stones release their minerals and the leaves that are put in the water release their essential oils in a traditional Bhutanese hot tub, known as dotsho,” the Kushi actress explained.
