Khushi Kapoor: Even before his debut in the film industry, Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, has secured his next film project. The young staar kid is gearing up for his debut in a thriller ‘Sarzameen’ set in Kashmir, alongside Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is being produced by Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions.
In the latest update, it has been revealed that Khan has been cast in a romantic comedy for his next venture. He is set to share the screen with Khushi Kapoor, the debutante from The Archies. This marks the second film project for both Ibrahim and Khushi, respectively. a source close to the development Said, “It’s being planned as a direct-to-digital project to be produced by Karan Johar’s digital wing, Dharmatics. The film will go on floors next year and will be directed by Shauna Gautam. Discussions are underway with a leading OTT platform for streaming rights”.
The insiders further revealed, “It’s one of those romantic comedies that Hindi Cinema is known for. However, Karan and his team believe that the storytelling style is better suited for OTT platforms than the traditional big screen. The project is strategically planned and will be executed as an OTT original”.
