Netflix, Amazon, and other major studios have been hesitant to do the project, citing policies against ‘Politically Motivated films’ Furthermore, JioCinema refused to work with Kangana due to her political affiliations and Zee added more complications during a merger.
It is still uncertain if Kangana will be able to get an OTT platform or a big studio to support this project. Nevertheless, her openness about her difficulties draws attention to the problems filmmakers encounter in bringing socially relevant stories to life.
