Director Shiva Nirvana’s Kushi stars Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha in lead roles. Yesterday, Kushi’s musical concert was held in Hyderabad and it was a huge success. Kushi is the first Telugu film to have a musical concert of that scale.
Vijay Deverakonda said that Samantha went through a lot of hardship during the filming of Kushi. “Samantha’s journey will be an inspiration to many people who are fighting their own battles in life,” he added.
He further added that he truly wishes Kushi to become a successful film for Samantha. “I heard the story of Kushi during the time of Dear Comrade but I kept the film on hold as I wasn’t keen on doing love stories,” he added.
Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi, Rohini, Ali and Rahul Ramakrishna are doing supporting roles.
Kushi revolves around a young couple who fall in love but are separated due to circumstances. The music has been composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. Its songs are a big hit on music apps and YouTube.
Kushi will release in theatres on September 1, 2023.
