Pan-Indian actor Prabhas much much-awaited ‘Salaar’, directed by Prashanth Neel, alongside Shruti Haasan is leading the female lead role. The film is slated for release on December 22, 2023.
There is a buzz around the latest trailer which was released last night. However, the reactions to the trailer have been mixed. While the film hints at high-voltage action, the trailer did not live up to the expectations. Instead, it had a lot of drama and only a few glimpses of the action stunts were shown. Prabhas, who plays Deva, is being trolled for his dialogue modulation in the trailer. The film is about the story of two friends, Deva and Varadharaja Mannar (played by Prithviraj Sukumaran). Deva comes to rescue his friend at the right time, which forms the first part of the plot of Salaar.
The movie ‘Salaar’ has an exceptional cast which includes Saran Shakthi, Eswari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, and others in significant roles. Smirat Kaur will make a special appearance as herself in an item song. The film is being produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.
Prabhas, who is at the forefront of his career, is currently occupied with several upcoming movie projects, including ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and an untitled movie directed by Maruthi.
