Salaar Ceasefire has created a stir at the box office in its first 10 days. After New Year’s Eve, the film experienced a slowdown but successfully recovered most of the investments from the buyers, thanks to its impressive performance in the first week at the ticket counters. Its clash with Shahrukh Khan’s Dunki limited its numbers in the Hindi language. The film has crossed Rs.600 Crores worldwide with the majority contributing from South states.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, this action-packed drama features Shruthi Hassan as the female lead. Despite early rumors of Netflix potentially streaming Salaar during the Sankranthi festival, it did not materialize. Nevertheless, the recent buzz on social media suggests that Salaar might be available for streaming on Netflix starting February 4, 2024. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding this speculation.
The eagerly awaited Salaar Part 2: Shauryaanga Parvam is slated to begin filming in the summer, with a planned release in December of this year. Reports indicated that 40% of the film has already been shot in conjunction with Part 1. New cast additions are being considered, and the team is exploring potential actors to enhance the film’s value and hype.
Salaar boasts an impressive ensemble cast, featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Easwari Rao, and Tinnu Anand in pivotal roles. Produced by Hombale Films, Salaar is further elevated by the musical brilliance of Ravi Basrur. The audience’s anticipation for Salaar’s potential availability on Netflix continues to generate excitement.
