Prabhas, the star of the upcoming action film ‘Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire,’ has officially announced its release date for Christmas this year. The movie is set to hit theaters on December 22nd, setting the stage for one of the biggest clashes in Indian cinema as Prabhas goes head-to-head with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki,’ also releasing during the Christmas season.
The makers of ‘Salaar’ took to their official social media account, now known as X (formerly Twitter), to share the release date. Alongside posters of the film in various languages, they posted, “Coming Soon #SalaarCeaseFire Worldwide Release On Dec 22, 2023.”
The striking poster features Prabhas in a bloodied and intense avatar, gripping a weapon, and gazing directly into the camera.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, renowned for his work on the ‘K.G.F.’ franchise, the film also boasts an ensemble cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu.
‘Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire’ is an action-packed production by Hombale Films, known for their previous successes like ‘K.G.F.’ and ‘Kantara.’
