Rebel star Prabhas is badly in need of a hit, as he faced hat-trick flops post-Bahubali franchise. He pinned all his hopes on his upcoming flick Salaar, which is being helmed by the sensational filmmaker Prashanth Neel.
The film has sky-high expectations as Prabhas’ and Prashanth Neel is the deadliest combo, and the hype on the film has touched the sky after the teaser release.
Guess what, the digital rights of the film are high on demand, it is being heard that the post-theatrical rights are coated for nearly 180-190crs. Top OTT giants Netflix are Amazon Prime are badly trying the acquire the rights. One among these OTT giants will bankroll the movie rights.
This is the highest record for any Indian film, nearly 75% of the budget is getting recovered with digital rights, and the trailer of the film will double the hype of the film.
Despite having consecutive disasters Salaar rights are being asked for a record price, this will be possible only when Prabhas is on the screens.
Salaar stars Prabhas and Sruthi Hassan in lead roles, the film also stars Malayalam star Pruthvi Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj and Eshwari Rao in lead roles. KGF Production house Hombale Creation have mounted the film, and Ravi Basrur has scored an earth-shaking BGM for the film.
