Rebel Star Prabhas‘ forthcoming flick Salaar has been trending on all social media. The reason for the film being in the news is that it is going to get postponed for a couple of months. Just a few days are left for Salaar to release in theatres. The film was scheduled to be released on 28 September. It got indefinitely postponed to January or December.
We have learned from our sources that the reason behind Salaar’s postponement is said to be Prabhas’ shots involving his dupe. There are many scenes done by Prabhas’ dupe. It is due to the actor’s leg surgery that he couldn’t do those scenes himself.
The shots done by Prabhas’ dupe are taking a long time for the VFX team to complete. The editing team and makers are yet to complete VFX for dupe shots. There are several other scenes that remain unfished. Due to this factor, Salaar will be postponed. The new release date of the film will be announced soon.
The film is directed by Prashanth Neel. The film’s trailer generated much hype among the audience. Director Prashanth Neel could be thinking that the film’s trailer should be beyond everyone’s imagination, he is taking time for the quality of the film.
