Pan Indian star Prabhas’s highly-anticipated movie ‘Salaar’, directed by Prasanth Neel. The female lead role will be played by Shruthi Hassan. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 22, 2023.
In the latest buzz, Director Prasanth Neel has recently revealed some exciting updates about the movie. He disclosed that ‘Salaar Part 1: Cease Fire’ will mainly focus on two close friends who become enemies due to unfortunate circumstances. The film aims to take the audience on an emotional journey.
Prasanth Neel has also clarified that ‘Salaar’ is not connected in any way to the movie ‘KGF’. Since the film has a six-hour long storyline, it was decided to split it into two parts for better narrative flow, and not for financial reasons. When asked about when Part 2 would begin, the director stated that it was a logistical issue, and he couldn’t give an exact date. After the completion of ‘Salaar’, Prasanth Neel will direct a movie alongside Jr. NTR, which is scheduled to start in March 2024.
The movie boasts an exceptional cast, with Prithviraj Sukumaran playing a crucial role, along with Saran Shakthi, Eswari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, and others in significant roles. Smirat Kaur will make a special appearance as herself in an item song. ‘Salaar’ is being produced under the banner of Hombale Films by Vijay Kiragandur. The theatrical trailer will be released on December 1, 2023, at 07:19 PM.
