Salaar Box Office Collection Report Till Date

Salaar Box Office Collection: The film Salaar, featuring Prabhas in the lead role, has set the Box Office on fire, crossing the impressive milestone of Rs 250 crore nett in India within just four days of its release. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the movie witnessed a spectacular performance, particularly during the Christmas holiday, with the Nizam market contributing significantly to its success.

The Nizam area, in particular, witnessed exceptional business, establishing Salaar as a record-breaker in the Box Office charts. According to a report from the trade website sacnilk, Salaar has achieved a remarkable Rs 50 crore share in Nizam, making it the third film to accomplish such a feat for distributors, following the success of Baahubali and Baahubali 2.

The film, also featuring Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Eeswari Rao, demonstrated its Box Office prowess with a solid Monday collection of Rs 45.8 crore, bringing the total to an impressive Rs 254.9 crore. Salaar is swiftly approaching the break-even point for distributors showcasing its strong momentum.

Notably, Salaar recorded a share of Rs 9 crore on Monday alone in Nizam, while the combined share of the film in the Andhra Pradesh-Telangana (AP-TG) market exceeds Rs 108 crore. To reach its break-even target in the AP-TG area ‘Salaar’ needs to collect Rs 145 crore, a goal that seems well within reach given its current trajectory.

Here’s a breakdown of Salaar’s Four-Day Box Office Collection after Monday (Nett Collection, sacnilk):

  • Friday: Rs 90.7 crore
  • Saturday: Rs 56.35 crore
  • Sunday: Rs 62.05 crore
  • Monday: Rs 45.8 crore
  • Total: Rs 254.9 crore

Additionally, Salaar has secured a prominent position among the top three films with the highest distributor share in the Nizam Market, currently standing at Rs 51 crore.

Distributor Share:

The distributor share represents the actual earnings of a distributor and a producer after deductions. Once the entertainment tax is subtracted from the gross collection, the distributor share is determined. Multiplexes and single screens deduct their respective shares from the net collection, with the share percentage varying across the country. Salaar’s success is evident in its strong performance in the Telugu-speaking states, where it has collected a total of Rs 163.1 crore, while the Hindi-dubbed version has garnered around Rs 67.7 crore net after four days.

The film’s business model is reflected in its strategic distribution, with Salaar gaining the maximum business from Telugu states. As it continues to dominate the Box Office Salaar’s performance in the upcoming weekdays will be closely watched. Stay tuned for the latest Box Office updates on Salaar.
