The much-anticipated movie “Salaar,” Starring Prabhas and Shruthi Hassan and Directed by Prashanth Neel, has become a hot topic of discussion and excitement among film enthusiasts nationwide. The first installment, titled “Salaar Cease Fire,” is set to hit theaters on December 22, 2023, intensifying the anticipation among fans. However, what adds a fascinating aspect to the buzz surrounding the film is the speculation regarding its astronomical significance.
In a recent media interaction, producer Vijay Kirangadur shed light on the decision to release the film on December 22, attributing it to astrological considerations. Kirangadur emphasized the importance they place on certain astrological aspects that influenced their scheduling decision. Despite being aware of other major releases such as Dunki and Aquaman slated for a day earlier, the team chose not to change the release date.
Explaining the decision, Vijay Kirangadur stated, “That’s the reason we didn’t postpone the film’s release, even though Dunki and Aquaman are set to release a day earlier.” He went on to mention the various factors contributing to the choice of December 22 mentioning, ” There were lot of works pending due to which we couldn’t make it for september 28. We considered various dates until May 2024, but we felt that December 22 was the optimal date. Additionally, it aligns with the time when more people tend to visit theaters, given the Christmas and New Year season.”
The film features a stellar cast, including Jagapathi Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran playing important roles, with Bhuvan Gowda as the cinematographer and Ravi Basrur as the music director.
