Mollywood actors Fahadh Faasil, Mammooty, and Jeeva are playing key roles in a couple of Telugu films. They are charging a fancy pay cheque from the producers of those movies. Some of the actors are more than regional actors.
Going into details, Fahadh Faasil made his place in everyone’s heart with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise. He will be continuing the same character in Pushpa 2. Guess what? He is being paid Rs 8 cr as remuneration for the Pushpa: The Rule.
Actor Mammootty needs no introduction. He is one of the top actors in Mollywood. He has been roped in to play YSR in Yatra 2. He headlined Yatra. No wonder the makers of Yatra 2 are ready to pay him as much as he demands. Hero Jeeva will be playing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s role in Yatra 2. Jeeva also demanded a big pay cheque; the producers are okay with it.
In this context, Some medium actors in Telugu are underpaid compared to Mollywood actors. Mollywood stars are ruling the Telugu cinema.
