Natural Star Nani is all set to team up with director Vivek Athreya for his upcoming project. Earlier, the duo collaborated for Ante Sundarainki, which was a flop at the box office. Their new film is produced by DVV Danayya under D.V.V Entertainments. The makers are busy finalizing the music director for the film.
The makers are planning to rope in AR Rahman to compose the music for the untitled project. The composer is demanding Rs 10 cr as remuneration for the film. Yes, AR Rahman is asking for a fancy pay cheque but the producers are not ready to pay that much because Nani’s film is a medium-budget one.
However, the director and the Dasara actor want AR Rahman on board. The final decision is yet to be taken by the producer.
On the career front, Nani is busy with the shooting of Hi Naana. The regular shooting of the film is going at a brisk pace. Mrunal Thakur is playing a pivotal role. Hi Naana will be released during Christmas of this year.
