The film which started filming much before BRO, Ustaad Bhagath Singh, and OG is still in the production stages. While Bro was released last year and OG is slated to release this September. Ustaad Bhagath Sing and Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s future is hanging in balance.
Shifting his focus, Harish Shankar has swiftly moved on to his current project, ‘Mr. Bachchan’, starring Ravi Teja, is set as an official remake of the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Raid’. Conversely, Hari Hara Veera Mallu seems to take one step forward and ten steps back in its progress. Recently, glimpses surfaced of Pawan Kalyan participating in script reading sessions for Hari Hara Veera Mallu, yet progress beyond this stage seems elusive. With Pawan Kalyan’s burgeoning political commitments hindering his availability for filming, the producers have devised a strategy to conclude the pending portions and transition to VFX and post-production phases. Producer AM Rathnam eyes a Sankranthi 2025 release for the film.
Meanwhile, the anticipation surrounding Megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus, ‘Vishwambhara’, originally slated for a Pongal release on January 10th, prompts a scheduling shuffle. To avoid a direct clash and to offer a breathing space for both Mega Brothers’ films, the makers contemplate a January 15th release for Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Whether this adjustment will materialize or remain a mere rumor remains to be seen.
