Allu Arjun Rejects These Brand Offers For Pushpa The Rule.

While portraying the fierce Pushpa Raj in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ and its upcoming sequel, ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, Allu Arjun has once again stood firm in his decision to reject endorsements for tobacco, pan, and liquor brands. Recent reports reveals that the actor turned down a lucrative brand placement deal from a popular liquor and pan brand for the upcoming film.

Insider information reveal the brand proposed a substantial sum of ₹10 crores for featuring their logo whenever the protagonist engages in drinking, smokin, or chewing on-screen. Despite the financial allure, Allu Arjun declined the offer, expressing discomfort with promoting such brands. His stance reflects a commitment to not encourage fans to indulge in smoking or drinking in real life.

This decision aligns with Allu Arjun’s past choices, including rejecting a significant offer from a tobacco company for a TV commercial following the success of ‘Pushpa: The Rise.’ His team clarified that the rejection stemmed from his personal choice to abstain from tobacco and he did not wish to influence his fans otherwise. Notably, during the pandemic he actively encouraged fans to contribute to environmental conservation by planting trees and gifting saplings.

Directed by Sukumar, “Pushpa: The Rise” released in multiple languages in December 2021, garnering positive responses from both audiences and critics. The film portrayed the journey of Pushpa, a daily wage worker who ascends to become a red sanders smuggler, facing formidable challenges along the way. The sequel, scheduled for an August 2024 release, continues the narrative with Rashmika Mandanna reprising her role as Srivalli. Allu Arjun’s principled stand against endorsing harmful products adds another layer to his commitment to responsible and socially conscious filmmaking.
