Shaitan Web Series 2023 Review

Shaitan is a 2023 Telugu crime thriller web series directed by Mahi V Raghav and streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The series stars Ruchi Mahajan, Nithin Prasanna, Jaffar, and Rama Prabha in the lead roles.

Plot: The series follows the story of Baali, a young man who is forced to turn to a life of crime after his family is killed by a group of Naxalites. Baali soon becomes one of the most feared criminals in the city, but he is also haunted by the memories of his past.

Shaitan is a gritty and realistic crime thriller that is not for the faint of heart. The series is full of violence, gore, and strong language. In a shocking turn of events, the four family members brutally murder the cop. The rest of the story is about the consequences of this decision, what Bala becomes eventually, a plot involving Maoists, and more.

Merits:

Shocking scenes. Graphical violence.

Demerits:

Lack of depth. Repeated use of cuss words.

Verdict: Must Watch Series. If you are a fan of crime thriller, for sure, you would love it.
