Reportedly, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has expressed her desire to move forward from discussions regarding her previous relationship with Naga Chaitanya. Following their split in 2021 and Chaitanya’s confirmation of their divorce last year, the former couple recently attended the same event but took deliberate measures to avoid encountering each other.
During the event, Samantha, alongside Varun Dhawan, unveiled Citadel: Honey Bunny, while Naga Chaitanya was present to celebrate the success of his web series Dhootha. A source revealed that this strategic decision was made to prevent speculation about a potential reconciliation and to maintain privacy regarding their personal lives. The insider stated, “Samantha is determined to keep her focus solely on her professional endeavors and refrains from discussing her past. Both Sam and Chay have moved forward without harboring hopes of reconciliation”.
At an Amazon Prime event, Samantha and Chaitanya carefully coordinated their schedules to avoid any overlap, minimizing the likelihood of being linked together in media coverage. Samantha, currently on hiatus due to her myositis diagnosis, is channeling her efforts into furthering her acting career. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya exchanged vows in 2017 after a seven-year courtship, having first met on the set of Ye Maaya Chesave in 2009. Their decision to part ways was announced in October 2021, marking the conclusion of their four-year marriage. While Samantha focuses on her health, Naga Chaitanya is gearing up for his forthcoming film Thandel, starring opposite Sai Pallavi.
