Rebel star Prabhas‘ upcoming movie Salaar is one of the most awaited films of the year. The film will be released in theatres on September 28, 2023. According to the reports, Salaar will be released in IMAX format in addition to the standard 2d version. However, an official confirmation regarding the same news is awaited.
Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, and Eeswari Rao among others are seen in key roles. It stars Prabhas as the titular character, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu. The film was announced in December 2020 with principal photography beginning in January 2021 near Godavarikhani, Telangana.
The music is composed by Ravi Basrur, while the cinematography is done by Bhuvan Gowda. Salaar is scheduled for a theatrical release on 28 September 2023 in Telugu along with dubbed versions of Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
