Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who welcomed their first child via surrogacy, shared the big news on social media in a joint statement. The couple, who have been married for three years, shared their family news on Instagram Friday.
“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family,” they each wrote.
They did not share the baby’s name or sex.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas met at the 2017 Met Gala, where they represented designer Ralph Lauren. They got married at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in 2018.
