Nithiin, who was once a reliable star, is currently grappling with setbacks as his recent ventures have failed to make an impact. Both ‘Macherla Niyojakavargam’ and ‘Extra Ordinary Man’, which were produced under his banner, were disappointed at the box office. However, determined to bounce back, Nithiin is now focused on delivering a hit and reclaiming his position in the industry.
In pursuit of this goal, Nithiin has signed on for several projects. One of his upcoming films is rumored to be with filmmaker Aditya Hasan, known for his acclaimed web series’ 90’s- A Middle-Class Biopic’ and for penning the dialogues for the Telugu adaptation of the Malayalam hit ‘Premalu’, released on March 8. Reportedly, the collaboration between Nithiin and Aditya Hasan with be produced under the Sreshth Movies Banner, Nithiin’s own production house. While details of the script are still in the finalization stage, Nithiin is set to portray a relatable ‘boy-next-door’ character in the film.
Apart from this project, Nithiin’s upcoming roster includes ‘Robinhood,’ where he reunites with director Venky Kudumula, who helmed the successful ‘Bheeshma.’ In ‘Robinhood,’ Nithiin will once again share the screen with Sreeleela, rekindling their on-screen chemistry after ‘Extra-Ordinary Man’.
