Young actor Vijay Deverakonda‘s Kushi was released theatres in last week. Unfortunately, the hero’s excessive promotions haven’t brought the audience to the theatres. The film fared well till the opening weekend. Since Monday, the footfalls are weak due to rains and weak word of mouth.
The film is below par in the Telugu States. Vijay Deverakonda’s Kushi success meet was held in Vizag. The hero promised that he would share Rs 1 cr with poor families. Abhishek Pictures was quick to comment. The production house tweeted that they lost Rs 8 cr on the distribution of World Famous Lover. The banner sarcastically requested Vijay to compensate them for their loss.

Vijay Deverakonda’s fans have come forward to support their favourite actor. Netizens questioned Abhishek Pictures if they asked the same question to big heroes of Tollywood in public. “What does the hero have to do with the film’s profit or loss? Any actor would sign the agreement to do their craft work and not any financial transactions with the producers. Will producers share their profits with the actors when they make a profit? It is not fair to question an established actor in public,” fans are saying.
