Sivakartikeyan, who has won the hearts of millions with his comedy, romance, and action roles, is all set to surprise his fans with his next film, which is tentatively titled SK21. Sivakartikeyan is familier in Tollywood too. His latest film, which is expected to be released later this year, will see him playing a military officer for the first time in his career.
The filmmaker has unveiled a video today, offering a glimpse into his preparation for this role. The footage showcases the actor undergoing rigorous physical and mental training to embody the essence of a soldier. From lifting weights to executing push-ups, running, shooting, and saluting, he immerses himself completely in the character. The video also showcases his striking appearance, featuring a toned physique, a sharp haircut, and a military uniform.
Furthermore, it was revealed that the title teaser will be unveiled on February 16th at 5 PM, coinciding with the actor’s birthday eve. Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, known for his impressive debut with the crime thriller ‘Rangoon’ the film is produced by Kamal Hassan under his Raaj Kamal Films banner in collaboration with Sony Pictures. Sai Pallavi and Rahul Bose play pivotal roles in the movie.
Based on the non-fiction book “India’s Most Fearless: True Stores Of Moder Military Heroes” penned by journalists Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, the film narrates the heroic endeavors of Indian soldiers in some of the most challenging operations and missions in the nation’s history. Expected to pay tribute to the valorous men and women of the Indian armed forces who selflessly serve the country, the film is anticipated to be a poignant portrayal of their sacrifices.
