The reason behind this potential delay is the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh as the film’s makers believe that releasing the movie during the election period might affect its box office performance.
Vyjayanthi Movies, the production company behind ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is currently in talks with the distributors to finalize a new release date. Sources suggest that the makers are considering either the last week of July or the third week of August as potential options. Although fans may be disappointed by the delay, it’s understandable that the makers want to ensure the film’s success by choosing the most opportune release window.
