Tripti Dimri Not A Part Of Aashiqui 3: Tripti Dimri gained widespread recognition with the blockbuster film ‘Animal,’ and her presence has been everywhere since its release. While some may sense a strong PR work behind her sudden surge in popularity. A surprising piece of news has left everyone surprised is her casting as the female lead in the iconic ‘Aashiqui’ sequel alongside Kartik Aaryan.
The original ‘Aashiqui,’ directed by Mahesh Bhatt and released in 1990, Introduced Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal to household fame, thanks to its musical success. The sequel, ‘Aashiqui 2,’ released in 2013 and directed by Mohit Suri, featuring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, also became a musical sensation. Now, ‘Aashiqui 3’ is set to be directed by Anurag Basu.
However, a recent twist in the story emerged as the producer of ‘Aashiqui,’ Mukesh Bhatt strongly denied the claim that Tripti Dimri will be cast opposite Kartik Aaryan in the third installment. He emphasized that casting decisions will only be finalized after the script and music are locked in.
Expressing frustration at false reports seeking to capitalize on the success of the ‘Aashiqui’ franchise, Bhatt stated, “This is unacceptable. I haven’t even had a meeting with this lady.” He further clarified that the production of ‘Aashiqui 3’ won’t commence until the music meets his approval.
