Exciting Improvements On Karthik Gattamneni’s Mirayi

Following the release of Ravi Teja’s film ‘Eagle’ in February, People Media Factory has assigned director Karthik Gattamneni another project, which is still in production. Some segments of ‘Eagle’ were filmed before November of last year. Although not officially confirmed, there’s speculation that the new project might be titled ‘Mirayi’.

Initially, Teja Sajja and Dulquer Salmaan were considered for the lead roles, with Manchu Manoj set to play as the antagonist, envisioning a high-octane action extravaganza. However, after the success of ‘Hanuman’, the script underwent revisions. Teja Sajja’s films are now garnering increased attention. with growing interest in acquiring Pan-India rights, including the lucrative Hindi market.

This shift in dynamics has led to a reevaluation of Ravi Teja‘s upcoming ventures. Discussions are underway to tweak the ‘Mirai’ script to amplify Teja’s character and make necessary adjustments accordingly. Consequently, filming is set to pause and resume around April or May. Moreover, Dulquer Salmaan, who is also involved in ‘Balakrishna 109,’ plans to manage his schedule between both projects to wrap up filming by summer.

The outcome of ‘Eagle’ appears to have started Karthik Gattamneni to recognize the importance of infusing emotional depth alongside action sequences. Thus, the team is ensuring that ‘Mirayi’ sidesteps any potential pitfalls. Teja Sajja is enthusiastic about exploring diverse roles, steering away from conventional commercial styles. With uncertainties surrounding the duration of ‘Mirayi,’ the team is adopting a cautious approach to storytelling, mindful of Teja Sajja’s evolving interests and preferences.
