The ongoing mystery surrounding the relationship status of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda has taken an intriguing turn, thanks to Ranbir Kapoor’s recent revelations. The trio made an appearance on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s show ‘Unstoppable’ to promote their upcoming film, ‘Animal.’
During the show, Ranbir Kapoor playfully addressed the speculation about Rashmika’s connection with Vijay Deverakonda, adding a layer of clarity for eager fans. In a widely circulated clip, Nandamuri Balakrishna posed a cheeky question to ‘Animal’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Rashmika, asking them to choose between ‘Animal’ and Vijay’s ‘Arjun Reddy.’
Seizing the moment, Ranbir lightheartedly urged Rashmika to pick between her ‘reel hero’ (himself) and her ‘real hero’ (Vijay). When she hesitated, NBK suggested calling Vijay for an answer. Ranbir quipped, “Sir, let Rashmika call, Vijay won’t pick his (Sandeep’s) call.”
As Vijay returned the call, Rashmika put him on speaker, and the banter continued. When asked to choose between Ranbir’s ‘Animal’ poster and Vijay’s ‘Arjun Reddy’ poster, Rashmika diplomatically asserted her connection to both, labeling ‘Animal’ as her film.
The teasing escalated when Ranbir disclosed that Sandeep met Rashmika for the first time on Vijay’s terrace during the success party of ‘Arjun Reddy.’ Rashmika, blushing, tried to downplay the revelation, saying, “It’s not necessary to give all this information,” eliciting laughter from the audience.
The dating rumors between Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have circulated since their collaboration in ‘Geetha Govindam.’ Despite constant speculation, the duo has consistently maintained a ‘just friends’ stance.
