Chiyaan Vikram and director Gautham Menon’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ has been stuck in legal and financial struggles for nearly six years. It’s disappointing news for Chiyaan Vikram fans who were looking forward to seeing the actor’s long-awaited spy action thriller, Dhruva Natchathiram: Chapter 1 – Yuddha Kaandam, in theatres today.
The film’s release date has been pushed back by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the director shared the news on social media, saying, ” Sorry. Unable to get Dhruva Natchathiram to the screens today. We tried our best. But looks like we need a day or two more. Hoping to give everybody a good experience with advance bookings and proper screens everywhere around the world. The support for the film is heartwarming and has kept us going. Just a few more days and we’ll arrive!”
After financial issues are handled, the film could be released in theatres on November 30, 2023, according to social media buzz. An official announcement will be made soon.
The film features Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role alongside Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, R Parthiban, Radhika Sarathkumar, Simran, and Vinayan in pivotal roles. Fans have been waiting with bated breath to watch the film in theatres.
Produced by Gautham Menon, the film has music composed by Harris Jayaraj and editing by Anthony. Cinematographers Manoj Paramahamsa, SR Kathir, Vishnu Dev, Jomon T John, and Santhana Krishnan have worked on the film over the past years.
