Collections: Poor Opening For Rama Banam

Machos star Gopichand’s family entertainer Rama Banam has been released in theatres yesterday, the highly anticipated film has started up with mixed reviews from the audience. The film had a huge buzz before its release, but it failed to entertain the audience at the ticket counters.

Director Sriwaas has failed to impress the audience with his direction, the poor storyline and weak narration have led the film to poor openings at the box office. The poor reviews have shown an impact on the film’s collections. According to reports, the first-day collection of the film is said to be 2.45cr gross and 1.17cr share. Which are the lowest figures for a decent buzz film.

The film came up with a break-even target of 13crs, the film will be considered as hit only if it reaches the break-even target. Let’s wait and see whether it can reach the break-even mark or not.

Gopichand has bagged another flop with this film, he has pinned huge hopes on this flick, as it is the successful combo of Gopichand and director Sriwaas, who earlier gave him blockbuster films.

Telugu hot diva Dimple Hayati is the female lead in the film, Jagaparthi Babu and Kushbu were seen in prominent roles in the film.
