Mangalavaram Box Office Collection: Mangalavaram, a murder mystery thriller written and directed by Ajay Bhupathi of Rx100 fame. the Movie has its global debut on November 17. The Film is presently garnering mixed reviews, with some critics suggesting that the filmmaker could have emphasized a more compelling storytelling approach, packed with thrilling moments to keep people on the edge of their seats.
The story begins in 1986, in a little town. When the little episode with children finishes, the stunning images and soundtrack quickly capture our attention. The first murder takes place, delving deep into the core plot, but after that what seems like a lot happening but, in reality, lacks substance. Technical brilliance drives the narrative more than the actual storytelling.
The trailer and excitement around the film ‘Mangalavaram’ have garnered notable praise for the movie but is not doing so well at the box office.
Since its Release, the film’s box office has steadily declined. The film collected roughly 4.75 crore on the first two days, and collections dropped even faster on the important Sunday, owing to the World Cup’s premiere which has decreased the collections drastically.
The film grossed 1.4 crores on Sunday, which does not amount to a blockbuster as its makers claim.
