Why Allu Aravind Backs Out From ‘AAA’.

In the Tollywood film industry, a prominent trend is emerging where smaller production houses are endeavoring to create movies with widespread appeal across India. Noteworthy entities such as Mythri Movie Makers, UV Creations, and Dil Raju Banners are expanding their horizons into this arena. However, other major production houses are not lagging behind and are quick to announce pan-India projects when they have the opportunity to work with big stars.

Geetha Arts spearheaded by the visionary producer Allu Aravind has harbored a longstanding interest in venturing into Pan-India cinema. While the company boasts an illustrious history of producing blockbuster hits, its pace in unveiling new projects in today’s fiercely competitive environment has been relatively measured. However, recent reports suggest that Geetha Arts is gearing up for a monumental endeavor featuring Allu Arjun under the directorial prowess of Atlee, accompanied by the musical brilliance of Anirudh. Tentatively titled #AAA, an official announcement regarding this project is anticipated on Allu Arjun’s birthday on April 8th.

Notably, industry whispers hint at the potential involvement of Sun Pictures in this ambitious undertaking. Sun Pictures, renowned for its triumph with the Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Jailer’, purportedly intends to make a substantial investment in the venture. While Sun Pictures initially aimed to solely produce the film, it appears that Allu Aravind has consented to serve as a co-producer thereby enhancing the prestige of the banner. Allegedly, director Atlee laid down certain conditions, including a stake in the film’s profits and a remuneration of 60 crores, which Sun Pictures purportedly accepted without hesitation.

In essence, the collaboration between Geetha Arts, Allu Aravind, and the potential involvement of Sun Pictures signify a momentous stride in Tollywood’s pursuit of pan-India projects with the potential to redefine the landscape of Telugu cinema on a national scale.
