Vijay Antony who is known for coming up with different concepts ventures into a Rom-Com genre with his latest film, ‘Love Guru’, co-starring Mirnalini Ravi as the female lead. The Trailer, unveiled by the film’s makers promises a delightful romantic comedy helmed by writer-director Vinayak Vaithianathan.
In ‘Love-Guru’, Vijay and Mirnalini portray a married couple but the dynamic between them is far from conventional. While the husband is deeply invested in their marriage, the wife harbors little interest and seeks a divorce. The trailer showcases Vijay’s character’s unwavering love for his wife and his efforts to salvage their relationship. Apart from headlining the film, Vijay Antony also takes on the role of editor. Produced by Meera Vijay Antony under the Vijay Antony Film Corporation banner, the film is set to release simultaneously in Tamil as “Romeo.” Notably, Mythri Movie Makers is handling the Telugu release.
The ensemble cast of “Love Guru” includes Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Ilavarasu, Thalaivasal Vijay, Sudha, and Sreeja Ra, among others. Cinematographer Farook J Basha and music composer Barath Dhanasekarm contribute to the film’s technical prowess. Audiences can anticipate the film’s release in time for Ramzan next month.
