Tamannaah To Feature In Stree 2 ? The much-awaited filming of Stree 2 finally kicked off in July this year in Chanderi Madhya Pradesh echoing the atmospheric setting of its predecessor in the horror-comedy franchise. The stellar cast featuring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee is actively involved in the ongoing shoot.
Released in 2018, Stree received widespread critical acclaim and achieved commercial success at the box office. The film’s music featuring chart-topping hits like ‘Milegi Milegi’ and ‘Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe’ became a major highlight. Nora Fatehi’s captivating performance in ‘Kamariya’ also left a lasting impression on the audience.
In an exclusive disclosure a source has disclosed an intriguing addition to the Stree 2 cast. Although not a substantial role Tamannaah Bhatia will grace the screen with her presence in a lively dance number reminiscent of the infectious energy of ‘Kamariya’. The shoot for this vibrant sequence has already been completed.
Tamannaah renowned for her exceptional dancing skills showcased her prowess in the recent hit song ‘Kaavaalaa’ from Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ creating a sensation on social media. The makers of Stree 2 recognized Tamannaah’s suitability for the song, and she will be joined by Rajkummar Rao in the sequence, marking their first collaboration on screen.
Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films Stree 2 is part of the horror-comedy universe that includes films like Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 30, 2024. The anticipation surrounding the sequel is undoubtedly heightened with the inclusion of Tamannaah Bhatia and the promising collaboration between her and Rajkummar Rao.
