Suriya Shares His Much Needed Injury Update On Twitter

Suriya was involved in a minor accident last night on the set of his highly anticipated action-fantasy drama Kanguva in Chennai. Suriya was reportedly injured when a rope struck his shoulder. Suriya will be out of action for a few days as a result of this mishap.

Suriya fans and well-wishers have been urging the actor to take care of himself since reports of his injury began to circulate on social media. Fans were also anxiously awaiting updates on Suriya’s injury. And the actor himself addressed their fears by providing an update on his health.

suriya tweeted last night much to the relief of his fans saying “Dear Friends, well wishers & my #Announcement thanks for the outpouring ‘get well soon’ msgs.. feeling much better.. always grateful for all your love (sic).”

Kanguva is directed by Siruthai Siva and produced under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations. The film is set to hit theaters on April 11, next year. Kanguva will be released in 38 different Indian and foreign languages, a vener before feat in Indian cinema.
