Vikram’s latest project tentatively titled Chiyaan 62 is directed by SU Arun Kumar who has recently delivered a heartwarming film Chithha/ Chinna with Siddharth. On Friday, the makers of Chiyaan 62 announced that versatile actor SJ Suryah has joined the film’s cast. Previously, the makers released a glimpse while announcing the film.
The teaser unfolds in a police station in Tiruttani, where we witness a tense scenario with band members being held captive. As the plot unfolds we see a woman registering a complaint while a scuffle breaks out between the individuals. Vikram’s character intervenes, whispering something to a policeman before departing the station leaving intrigue about his identity.
Notably, the music for Chiyaan 62 is composed by GV Prakash, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project, Produced by Riya Shibu under the HR Pictures banner, this collaboration marks a significant venture for both the producer and the acclaimed actor Vikram.It’s worth mentioning that Riya Shibu’s father, Shibu Thameens has previously bankrolled Vikram starrers like Irumugan and Saamy Square, adding a layer of expectation to Chiyaan 62.
Meanwhile, SJ Suryah, who was last seen in Jigarthanda Double X, is concurrently engaged in multiple projects across Tamil and Telugu cinema, including Indian 2, D50, Love Insurance Corporation, Game Changer, and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, each at different stages of production.
