Devi Sri Prasad fondly known as Rockstar DSP, following his phenomenal success with the music of the Pan India blockbuster ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, has consistently cited maestro Ilaiyaraaja as his musical inspiration. Recently he had a fan moment when the maestro visited his studio, prompting DSP to share the experience on social media. Not only did he share photos of their encounter, but he also penned a heartfelt note describing the meeting.
Taking to Instagram, Devi Sri Prasad posted snapshots of his cherished moments with Ilaiyaraaja in the studio, revealing a large wall-length photo of the legendary composer adorning his workspace. He continued, “As a little kid, even before I knew what MUSIC was all about, this MAESTRO ISAIFNANI ILAYARAJA SIR’s MUSIC cast a MAGICAL SPELL on me. I grew up with his Music always around me, even when I was studying for my Exams. So inseparable I was, am, and will be, from his music.. Which instilled in me the Strongest Desire and Determination to become a Music Composer..”
He further shared. “It was one of the Most Emotional moments of my LIFE. Thank You, my Dearest GOD, of MUSIC, Isaignani ILAYARAJA SIR, For bringing ur Divine Presence into my STUDIO and Blessing ME & my TEAM.. Thank You for always Inspiring & Teaching Us Sir Love U for Eternity Dearest RAJA SIR”, he concluded.
Expressing gratitude towards everyone who contributed to his professional journey, DSP signed off with appreciation for directors, producers, actors, music labels, family, friends, team members, and fans who supported and elevated him.
